REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE ARE NOT MAKING PERSONAL APPEARANCES IN VOLNEY TOWN COURT FOR TRAFFIC MATTERS. THEREFORE, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT THE OSWEGO COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY BY MAIL OR BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THEIR WEBSITE.

If you are unsure if the Court has your correct address, please call and update your address with Court personnel.

In addition, we would request that whenever possible, matters be handled by mail. For your convenience we also have a drop box in the front door for correspondence.

Regular Office Hours:

 Monday 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM

 Tuesday 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM

  Thursday 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Criminal and Traffic Court is held on Mondays at 6:00 PM, excluding holidays (times may vary, please call if you are unsure of a Court date and/or time) 

Civil (including eviction proceedings) and Small Claims Court is held on Mondays at 4:00 PM,  excluding holidays  (times may vary, please call if you are unsure of a Court date and/or time)

DA Court conference is by appointment only.

Acceptable forms of payment:  Money Order, Certified Check, Cash (exact amount only), MasterCard* and Visa* (We can NOT accept credit card payments by phone)

*Notice of credit card service fee   A service fee of 2.99% of the payment amount will be assessed on all credit card payments. Please note, neither the court nor the municipality receives any portion of the service fee.
